The tire wheel seems to have a very specific function: to hold the weight of a car and keeping it safe from whatever the vehicle can encounter in the road. Sizes vary as much as the quality and the brands, but they usually do the same thing: they role under a vehicle.

With time and use the tires get tire; the drawing on the surface that has contact with the ground gets blurry, which means that in the rain the vehicle could sly or the tire could blow out at high temperatures... When this happens it means it's time to change it. That tire is no longer useful... to drive.

At that point, the wheel seems useless, but we need to acknowledge that there are people that don't even have motorcycle but they have a lot of tires. What do they do with them?
