• Permanent display of project “Crossing the Bridge: a board game” at the Inter-American Border Studies Center (UTEP).
• SBC Chancellors Award— Recipient: This award is not unusually presented to art students. $3000 for three years to cover tuition costs. Fall 2005 - Fall 2008.
• Enter the Game — Research Event. I participated as coordinator of the event along with other three Ph.D. students. More than 50 students from different disciplines participated in this even by playing in a variety of board games activities all related to the arts. A survey and outcomes of the event were recorded. TTU, Spring 2006.
• Cute Pixels: critical practice: games as cultural expression — Rafael Fajardo’s Art Lecture and Digital Games Exhibit: I coordinated his presentation from the booking of his flight to his daily itinerary. His lecture was covered by the University’s newspaper “The Daily Toreador.” TTU, April 20 and 21, 2006.
• Stories of Women in Print– Publication: I was requested by Joe Arredondo and Future Akins, TTU School of Arts faculty and staff, to create a digital version of a print exhibit— Summer 2006.

• Genderland — Art Show. This show, with more than 32 artists participating, was a big success in the Lubbock community. I was in charge of documenting the event through video and digital pictures. The final product became a DVD with 30 minutes of footage and interviews. Underwood Center, Lubbock, TX, Fall 2006.
• Céfiro 8th Annual Conference — Lecturer. I presented the paper “Millenary Games Among Us” on the topic of Autochthonous games in México and their struggle to survive in this modern era. This was an international conference organized by the Classical Language Program at Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX. March, 2007.
• Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) 2007 Annual Conference — Lecturer. The use of board games in the classrooms. Galveston, Texas. November, 2007
